THEME : THE CHURCH AND STATE IN HEALTH CARE DELIVERY IN THE STATE

The Bishop, Catholic Diocese of Gboko, Most Revd William Amove Avenya, the Health Coordinator, Red. Fr. Michael Dogo and the entire staff of Gboko Diocesan Health Care Initiative wish to notify the general public of the first Diocesan Health Summit of the Catholic Diocese of Gboko.

Aim:
1. Celebrating / showcasing the services and blueprint of the diocesan health Care programme in the diocese
2. Charting a course for a sustainable health care delivery in the Diocese.
3. Paper presentations : 1. The Church and state in health care delivery in the state. 2. Health Care Service Delivery in Gboko Diocese; a historical journey.
4. Fundraising for the completion of St. John the Baptist hospital in preparation towards the establishment of schools of Nursing and midwifery for Gboko diocese.

Date: 23rd September, 2016
Start Time: 10:00am with mass.

Besides other side attractions, the hall mark of the event will be a dinner /Awards session to a select few of repute in different endeavours of life.
